The monthly checklist
Oil level, tyre pressures (5psi front, 4psi rear), brake feel, chain tension, air filter cleanliness, bolts on hubs and handlebar.
Every 1,000km
Change oil (700ml 10W-40), clean spark plug, wash air filter in petrol and re-oil, lube the chain.
Winter storage
Fill the tank, add stabiliser, disconnect the battery. Cover and store off concrete.
